Life Care Center of La Center, Kentucky, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality measures (including pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls).
“The building of our five-star rating has been a goal set by our entire facility,” said Ginger Atkins, executive director. “It has been the work and dedication of this team that has brought us up to this standard of performance. We are thankful for the caring and hard-working associates of Life Care Center of La Center.”

Making a positive difference is what matters most to the team members at La Center.”
